Global Food Passport launches

International travel may be out of the question for a while yet, but that doesn’t mean you have to miss out on experiencing the flavours of the world.

In a new Global Food Passport initiative, City of Salisbury has partnered with local food businesses to deliver exclusive deals on a range of cuisines from Asian, to Mexican to Italian, to coffee and cake.

The passports can be collected at participating businesses and local community centres (pending availability), and the campaign will run from Sunday 1 November until the end of the year.

Each time a passport holder unlocks a deal within the book, they receive a stamp in-store and can use this to go in the draw online to win a $100 food voucher.

Mayor Gillian Aldridge OAM encouraged locals to explore the Global Food Passport initiative.

Food businesses have had a challenging year, with the restrictions and pressure brought on as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Global Food Passport is a win-win for customers and business owners, and another great reason to shop local when eating out between now and the end of the year.
