Create a Place - Public Art Project

We have three exciting new location for South Australian Mural Artists ready to go...

We are looking for mural artists to create their magic on the side of community buildings within the City of Salisbury.

Submission are now open and ready to go for the below three locations with artist project brief provided;

• 1st Manor Farm Scout Hall - Salisbury East / Artist project Brief - Click here
• Manor Farm Shopping center - Salisbury East / Artist project Brief - Click here
• Ametalin group - Salisbury North / Artist project Brief - Click here

Please submit your interest and concept designs for the murals to arts@salisbury.sa.gov.au

Successful artists for each location with be notified via email once our Public Art Panel has approved the concept designs.

Submissions for these locations close on Monday 8 July 2024.

Expression of Interest

If you have a location or venue that would make a great 'blank canvas' please click here for a 'Location Expression of Interest' application. Examples of previous locations have included rainwater tanks, large brick walls and underpasses.

Marketing and promotion

All completed masterpieces are displayed on our Discover Salisbury website.

We encourage any artists from South Australia to register their interest to take part in what we hope will become a legacy for our region.
