Diversitours Salisbury

In an Australian first, the City of Salisbury are pleased to be launching the initiative ‘Diversitours’ with iGen Foundation.

What are Diversitours?

Diversitours offer one-of-a-kind walking tours of Salisbury, that go beyond typical sightseeing by providing an authentic, culturally rich experience of your local neighbourhood. Inspired by the Diversitours project in Valencia and Bilbao, Spain, Diversitours in its original format was funded by the Council of Europe in 2021. 

Diversitours guides connect locals and visitors with the history of neighbourhoods, landmarks and small businesses; Guides highlight the social, business, faith and cultural diversity within neighbourhoods.

The application process for tour guides closed in November 2024. Tours will commence early 2025.
