Do You Need a Job in Aged Care?

Find out information about employment in the aged care sector by attending this Aged Care and Volunteer Connect Expo which will provide…

  • Information on entry level job opportunities available in aged care
  • Speed date style interviews for paid jobs and volunteer opportunities with aged care organisations
  • Opportunities to learn more about the aged care sector.

We welcome you to a casual event where you will meet with representatives from Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) organisations who are looking to fill open positions. You can learn about the companies, the available job openings, the requirements for the jobs, and have quick interviews on the spot.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please register on this page or simply drop by the Salisbury Community Hub on Friday 26 July 2024.

What is unique about this event?

The Care Sector Career Connect (speed date style interviews with aged care organisations) and the Volunteer Expo were designed and developed by the Northern Collaborative Project (NCP) aimed at boosting and strengthening the local community aged care sector.

This Expo aims to attract a minimum of 100+ paid employment opportunities and diverse volunteer opportunities (pathway to employment) in the aged care sector.

What other support is available?

Our experience indicates that more support services are needed for potential Jobs Seekers before the informal interviews take place at this Care Sector Career Connect and Volunteer Expo. The following two sessions are designed to support you to gain paid employment or a volunteer role at the expo.

  • Get a job in Aged Care information sessions (Friday 14 June 2024, Monday 17 June 2024, Monday 8 July 2024)
  • Get Ready for a Job in Aged Care one day workshop (Friday 12 July 2024)
