Small spaces can have a big impact. Learn how local native plants can help you design a beautiful, low-maintenance, and cost-effective outdoor space that’s not only great for you but also supports birds, butterflies, and other local wildlife.
Event highlights
- Guest presenter Jenny Deans - specialist in residential gardens will share expert tips to get started with local native plants. 40 minute presentations repeated each hour
- Local environmental volunteer groups - learn from their wealth of knowledge and be inspired by the amazing work they do
- Local native nursery - purchase local native plants for your garden. Please bring your own container to take them home.
- Animals Anonymous - get up close to native animals. 10am - 1pm
- Coffee and sausage sizzle
Things to know
- Accessible toilet facilities will be provided on site
- Please be aware that some areas of the event are gravelled and contain slopes
- Car-pooling is encouraged as car parking is limited
