Provide First Aid Youth Activity - July School Holiday Program

Twelve25 Youth Centre is offering subsidised training courses for young people who live, study or volunteer in the City of Salisbury.

Provide First Aid is one of these courses and covers the following units of competencies:

• HLTAID009 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• HLTAID010 - Provide basic emergency life support
• HLTAID011 - Provide first aid

This course will provide you with the ability to recognise basic signs and symptoms of various illnesses or injury. It will provide the knowledge and skills to provide appropriate first aid treatment or assistance through a range of practice scenarios.

Training Details

Date: Monday 8 July

Time: 9.30am to 4.30pm (arrive by 9.15am)

Venue: Bagster Road Community Centre 17 Bagster Road, Salisbury North

Ages: Strictly for young people aged 14 to 25 years

Candidates must also be able to perform CPR on an adult resuscitation manikin which will be placed on the floor and be willing and able to work in pairs or small groups.
