Join us for our 2025 Australia Day celebrations on Sunday 26 January at Carisbrooke Park
From water slides to a Weet-Bix eating contest, a petting zoo to bubble soccer – there is plenty of action planned for our annual Australia Day celebration.
A free community hot breakfast of bacon and egg rolls served up by the 1st Salisbury and Mawson Lakes Scout Groups, or a healthy option of fruit and yoghurt will be available from 8am (while supplies last), with coffee, ice-cream, drinks and food available for purchase during the day.
Official events will include a flag raising ceremony, presentation of the Salisbury Australia Day Citizen of the Year award winners and a Citizenship Ceremony.
The day will also be packed with loads of free entertainment including live music from a local brass band and family friendly DJ.
Program of Events
- 8am - Official opening
- 8.05am - Flag raising ceremony by Air League Cadets
- 8.15am - Salisbury City Band
- 9.15am - City of Salisbury Australia Day Awards
- 10.15am - Citizenship Ceremony
- 10.35am - DJ - best of Australian music
- 2pm - Event concludes.
