The Ability Inclusion Strategic Plan is City of Salisbury’s Disability Access and Inclusion Plan. An extensive community consultation identified 8 outcomes which will make Salisbury an inclusive, accessible and welcoming place for people of all abilities to live, work and play.

The City of Salisbury have staff who focusses on addressing accessibility and inclusion for the community, as well as supporting Council in establishing social inclusion as a fundamental consideration in all planning.
The City of Salisbury affirms that people living with a disability have the same rights as other citizens to be part of the social, cultural, economic and political life of the City.
The City of Salisbury is a registered NDIS provider. We offer four centre based group activities for people with disability.
The City of Salisbury is proud to be a Refugee Welcome Zone, a Welcoming City and an Intercultural City. Over 60% of refugees entering South Australia settle in the Salisbury area.
We're committed to ensuring that older residents can age well within Salisbury, and have developed an ageing strategy document to guide this work.
