Create Your Own Garden Markers with 3D Printing Fun!

Date: Tuesday 1 October

Times:

  • Session 1:11am to 12.15pm
  • Session 2:2pm to 3.15pm

Location: Burton Community Hub (Tech Lab)

Ages: 8 to 14 years (children under 13 years require adult supervision during this activity)

Cost: $5 per session

Join our nature garden workshop and learn the skills of 3D modelling and printing, with a nature twist. Get ready to turn your imagination into a 3D reality as you design and create your own herb garden marker, perfect for a budding gardener's herb garden!​

Herb garden markers will be printed and ready for collection from Friday 11 October at the Burton Community Hub.

No prior experience needed, both sessions include the same content.

Show off your racing skills and race to the finish line while avoiding obstacles and roaming robots. Everyone is encouraged to join in!

Step into the future of fun at Mawson Centre's VR Arcade. Immerse yourself in captivating virtual experiences, try favourite games like Beat Saber, fun adventures in Wander or get super creative using Tilt Brush! Come in and have a go, no experience necessary!​ Each session runs for approximately 20 minutes and is appropriate for users aged 10 and above.​

These sessions are designed to give you the opportunity to learn how to use the microphone and voice recording in the studio. After this session you are welcome to book time with the librarians to use the space on your own to continue your own project.

No previous experience is required - just come with your idea and enthusiasm!

Northern Adelaide eSports League (NOADE)

Get involved with the Northern Adelaide eSports League (NOADE) and a range of eSports events and tournaments.

The focus of NOADE events is to help participants develop their tournament play in a safe and positive environment. NOADE is all about gamers connecting with each other, having fun and learning new skills in a positive way.

Established in 2013 as Twelve25 LAN and later becoming Salisbury eSports League (SESL), the northern eSports competition has recently become the Northern Adelaide eSports League. The name change represents an exciting new future for eSports in the north of Adelaide.

NOADE League is facilitated by Academy of Gaming Film & Animation (AGFA) from Northern Adelaide Senior College and staff and youth volunteers from the City of Salisbury.
