Affordable Housing Implementation Plan
The Affordable Housing Implementation Plan identifies housing affordability issues affecting the City and recommends actions which will help inform Council’s priority actions and practical solutions that could contribute to increasing the affordable housing supply and facilitate better housing outcomes for the Salisbury Community.
Goals of the Affordable Housing Implementation are to:
- Achieve better housing outcomes for individuals and families
- Facilitate delivery of inclusive communities where people of all ages, backgrounds and incomes have a place to call home
- Advocate for increased low cost and affordable housing outcomes that are responsive to current and future needs of our community
The Implementation Plan focus areas span the breadths of the roles the City of Salisbury can play – from facilitator, to policy maker, advocate, catalyst, partner and developer.
