Proposal to Lease Community Land - Mobara Park

Notice is hereby given that at a meeting held on 25 November 2024, pursuant to Section 202 of the Local Government Act 1999, the Council of the City of Salisbury resolved to seek public comment on a proposal to enter into a Joint Use Agreement for portion of the land located at 133-167 Mawson Lakes Boulevard also known as Mobara Park, Mawson Lakes identified as Allotment 852 in Deposited Plan 65657, to allow the Mawson Lakes School to use this area as playing fields between the hours of 8:30am – 4:00pm Monday to Friday for a period of up to 10 years.

Any person is entitled to object to the proposed lease. Such objections must set out the full name and address of the person making the objection and must be fully supported by reasons.

Council invites written submissions on the proposal which are to be received by close of business 16 January 2025 and addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, City of Salisbury, PO Box 8, SALISBURY SA 5108.
