PROPOSALS TO LEASE COMMUNITY LAND
Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Sections 200, 202 and 223 of the Local Government Act 1999, the City of Salisbury is seeking public comment on a proposal to lease portions of community land at the following location:

HARRY BOWEY RESERVE:

In August 2022, the City of Salisbury engaged with the community on a proposed development of TreeClimb Salisbury, a unique and exciting nature-based adventure park to be located within Harry Bowey Reserve, Salisbury Park. The proposal impacts land known as Harry Bowey Reserve defined as Allotment 42 in Filed Plan 114756 described in Certificate of Title Volume 5889 Folio 142, and Allotment 43 in Filed Plan 114757 described in Certificate of Title Volume 5861 Folio 634. The City of Salisbury propose to enter into a lease with TreeClimb for recreational purposes for a period of up to 15 years.

Any person is entitled to object to the proposed lease. Such objections must set out the full name and address of the person making the objection and must be fully supported by reasons.

Council invites written submissions on the proposal which are to be received by close of business on Tuesday 24th January 2023 and addressed to The Chief Executive Officer, City of Salisbury, PO Box 8, SALISBURY SA 5108
