Internationally acclaimed author, Heather Morris, to headline Author Series event in Salisbury

The widely celebrated author behind the internationally bestselling Tattooist of Auschwitz trilogy is set to captivate the audience at a very special event on Saturday 25 May, from 11am to 1pm, at the Salisbury Community Hub.

Following the success of The Tattooist of Auschwitz, Cilka’s Journey, and Three Sisters, Heather Morris will join us to discuss her latest tale of resilience and friendship in dark times and dangerous places.

Chronicling the bravery and resilience of Australian army nurses during the chaos of World War II, Sisters under the Rising Sun follows the story of Nesta, Vivian, and Norah, as they navigate a struggle for survival – among other things.

Adding to her accolades, Heather Morris' Tattooist of Auschwitz was adapted into a highly anticipated television series, which premiered on the Stan streaming platform on 2 May.

The community is invited to join us for an unforgettable session of literary discussion and engagement. Following the event, attendees are welcome to partake in a complimentary afternoon tea, providing an opportunity to mingle with the author, have books signed, and delve deeper into Morris's remarkable body of work.

Mayor Gillian Aldridge OAM has shared her enthusiasm for the visit from the celebrated author, saying,
