Morella Community Centre wins SA Training Award for Excellence in Diversity

The City of Salisbury congratulates Morella Community Centre for winning the Excellence in Diversity Award at the 2024 South Australian Training Awards.

This award recognises Morella Community Centre’s outstanding efforts in providing inclusive and accessible learning programs that support people from diverse backgrounds within our community.

The South Australian Training Awards celebrate exceptional contributions to the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector. Seven individuals and seven organisations were recognised at the awards presentation, selected from 120 nominations. Winners will represent South Australia at the 2024 Australian Training Awards in Canberra later this year.

Morella Community Centre stood out for its unique programs that empower participants to build confidence and explore diverse career pathways. The courses focus on developing practical skills valuable in any workplace, and providing an introduction to careers in customer service, retail, hospitality, children’s services, and more.

Their dedication to creating a welcoming and supportive learning environment is truly commendable.
