Explore the wonders of STEM at Salisbury Science Fun Day
Salisbury Science Fun Day returns on 11 August from 11 am to 3 pm at the Salisbury Community Hub. This free community event will provide a day full of discovery and wonder, with fascinating science activities and demonstrations for all ages.
Council is proud to provide a diverse range of programs catering to young people with various interests. A highlight of the Salisbury Community Fun Day series, this event is held in collaboration with The Science Collective and coincides with National Science Week.
Visitors can enjoy a range of activities, hands-on experiences, and live science shows, including Dr. Quark’s Scientific Circus, SciFiBri’s Spectacular Chemistry Show, and a wildlife show by Animals Anonymous.
There will be something for all age groups and skill levels, from electric circuits and robotics workshops for older kids, to dinosaur digs and slime activities for the younger ones. For those seeking immersive experiences, the event will feature Virtual Reality, SciWorld’s Inflatable Planetarium, and intriguing puzzles for those who enjoy a challenge.
