Australia Day Breakfast
Celebrate what makes us great with the 2021 City of Salisbury Australia Day Breakfast
The public is invited to throw on its thongs and head on down to the Salisbury Community Hub for a morning of free celebrations to mark Australia Day on January 26.
From 8am, a hot breakfast will be available at no cost, as well as a healthy option of fruit and yoghurt.
To keep you entertained, there will be live music from The Crosstown Ramblers plus a range of other exciting activities including:
- Meet and greet opportunities with footy legends Darren Jarman and Alipate Carlile
- Novelty games including a vegemite eating competition and thong throwing competition
- Mini golf
- Animal farm
- Balloon artists
- Badge making
- Military and defence vehicle display
The official proceedings will begin at 8 am with a Flag Raising Ceremony followed by Australia Day Awards at 8.30 am and a Citizenship Ceremony taking place inside the Community Hub at 10 am.
