Council supports White Ribbon Day with free film screening

The City of Salisbury will host a free movie screening on Friday, November 18 in support of White Ribbon Australia with the community invited to attend.

‘A Better Man’ is an award-winning documentary which offers a fresh look at healing when responsibility is taken for abuse.

It empowers the audience to play a new role in challenging domestic violence, whether it’s in their own relationships or as part of a broader movement for social change.

Two free screening sessions will be available for the community to attend at Hoyts Salisbury, at 9.30am and 1pm.

City of Salisbury is a White Ribbon accredited workplace and is committed to standing up and speaking out to end domestic violence and violence against women.

We are committed to raising awareness and educating staff and the community to have the knowledge and skills to address the issues of family and domestic violence in both the workplace and the broader community.
