Gillian Aldridge OAM to lead City of Salisbury for fifth term

Gillian Aldridge OAM will serve the City of Salisbury for a fifth term after winning the 2022 City of Salisbury Local Government elections.

Mayor-Elect Aldridge won with 14,661 votes (12,665 first preference votes) in the mayoral election, with former councillor Graham Reynolds receiving 11,496 votes to finish second.

She will be joined on Council by seven first-time councillors and seven returning councillors.

The returning elected members coupled with new faces will bring a mix of experience and fresh energy and ideas to the Council on how to better serve our community.

I am grateful for your support and look forward to continuing to work towards a more progressive, sustainable and connected Salisbury for all of us.
