International Day of People with Disability Mayoral Awards

The City of Salisbury have some exciting news!

This year, we’re teaming up with our friends over at the City of Playford to take part in the International Day of People with Disability Mayoral Awards.

The awards are now open to residents of the entire northern suburbs, so if you know someone in City of Salisbury making a difference for people with disability now is the time to acknowledge them!

The awards are held to honour and recognise the accomplishments of people who work hard every day to make the community more inclusive and accessible for those living with disability.

Nominations will be closing on Friday 17 November, so make sure you get your nominations in before the deadline.

The awards will be presented at the City of Playford’s exciting and inclusive event titled, ‘Fashion for EveryBODY’ on Friday 1 December 2023 at the Playford Civic Centre.

Fashion designers like JAM the label, and The Shapes United will feature on the runway, as well as the excellent Belle Owen on MC duties. The talented Hannah Smedley will be performing, and tickets are sure to run out fast.
