Navigating finances together at Salisbury’s Bring Your Bills Day

In partnership with AnglicareSA, the Department of Human Services, and the South Australian Financial Counselling Association, the event is open to everyone, and will bring together a diverse range of service providers under one roof, offering free advice and support to help navigate the complexities of finances and bills.

Multilingual staff and volunteers will assist attendees who speak languages other than English, ensuring equal access to the support and resources available on the day.

Attendees will receive personalised advice from organisations including ConcessionsSA, financial institutions, and City of Salisbury staff. They can connect with industry professionals from energy, water, and telecommunications sectors, and learn about consumer rights and protections.

Bring Your Bills Day offers northern residents a chance to gain valuable insights into navigating and managing bills, understanding consumer rights, and discovering available support.

‘We understand that managing bills can be challenging, and Bring Your Bills Day offers a great opportunity for the community to access expert advice and support.

‘We encourage everyone to come along, gain better understanding of their financial situation, and access the resources needed to feel more confident and informed.’

City of Salisbury Mayor Gillian Aldridge OAM

‘Our Bring Your Bills days offer community members the chance to discuss their finances with experts from the water, power, and service sectors, with financial counsellors on hand to provide free, confidential advice.

‘Face-to-face conversations between creditors and community members help break down barriers, strengthen connections, foster growth, and empower participants.

‘It’s a fantastic opportunity for stakeholders and partners to come together to offer support, make meaningful connections, and create lasting benefits for our Northern Adelaide community.’
