Renowned chef and food critic, Gourmet Farmer Matthew Evans, to talk gardening in local event

Celebrated food critic and chef, turned farmer, author and television star Matthew Evans will give a talk at the Para Hills Community Hub to celebrate the launch of his new book, The Real Food Companion.

The talk will be held on Friday, December 2 at 12.30pm and will focus on gardening, farming and the joy of growing and cooking your own food, with a particular emphasis on soil health – a topic Matthew is passionate about.

Copies of The Real Food Companion – which focuses on putting better meals on the table and better outcomes for our land – will be available for purchase and signing at the event.

In this fully revised and updated guide for all levels of cooks, Matthew Evans demystifies the how, the why, and the what, to help you put dinner on the table, be it for a slap-up occasion or a Tuesday night hurry-up meal.

Tickets for the event cost $5 each and are available here.
