Something Wicked This Way Comes
Dare to enter the realm of the wicked?
Let the talented Salisbury Youth Performing Arts Group transport you to a strange and dark year, where Halloween came early – on October 24, three hours after midnight. That was when Cooger and Dark’s Pandemonium Shadow Show arrived in Green Town.
Best friends James Nightshade and William Halloway watch in awe as the mysterious carnival rolls in, promising dreams fulfilled and youth restored. But behind the mirror mazes and sinister figures – especially the enigmatic Mr. Dark – lurks a chilling truth. As the carnival’s dark magic tightens its grip, Jim, Will, and Will’s father must uncover its secrets before it’s too late.
Bringing Ray Bradbury’s theatrical adaptation of Something Wicked This Way Comes to life, the Salisbury Youth Performing Arts Group is made up of passionate young performers aged 12–18. Based at Twelve25 Youth Centre, the group provides opportunities for young people to develop their creative skills through acting, scriptwriting, and even filmmaking. With a strong focus on teamwork and confidence-building, the program – run in partnership between the City of Salisbury and SpaceTime Performing Arts – encourages a passion for storytelling in all its forms.
Join us as these emerging performers take the stage for an evening of suspense, wonder, and theatrical magic.
