Food Safety: Free Online Training

I’m Alert Food Safety Training is now available through the City of Salisbury website.

All food businesses are required to have appropriate skills and knowledge in food safety and food handling. The City of Salisbury has provided a free online training tool 'I'm Alert' to assist all food handlers in improving food safety education.

Council's Environmental Health team is inviting any food handlers to complete this interactive training program. It is also ideal for anyone in the community to do as it can help improve your skills when cooking in the kitchen at home for family and friends.

The program is easy to follow, includes an entertaining presentation as well as interactive quizzes, whilst covering all aspects of the Food Safety Standards.

A training acknowledgement certificate can be printed upon completion and be kept as a part of your staff records.
