Hi, I am Andy. I am a big handsome boy looking for his forever home. I have a lot of energy as most Border Collies do. I love playing outside and running around, and I love water play. If you get the hose out I would love that. If you have a spacious property where I can stretch my legs that would be great to help me use up my energy. I am a sweet and loyal type of dog that thrives on constant activity and engagement. Best suited with a family who is willing to spend time with him and give him the physical and mental stimulation that he craves. He is okay with other dogs but he is very particular so a home without other dogs is preferred.

Hi I am Bean, and I am looking for a forever home. I am happy dog that loves going out side and playing. I get along well with other dogs and play off lead in the yard but I am also a solo type of guy that likes to watch others playing as well, while I wander around checking things out. I am an older guy which they think I am about 7. Being an older gentleman, I do come with some dental issues that would need to be tended too. I will feel much better once that is done, however I still love my food and it doesn’t cause me any issues with eating. I’m only a small dog so you can take me anywhere you go. I love hanging out with my carer’s so I am sure to love hanging out with you too. If you have another dog at home please ask to bring them with you when you come to meet me. Hope to see you soon.

Hi I am Brocco and how are you today? I am a happy little bundle of fun. Looking to spend my days having fun times with you. I love being outside and playing, I would love to run around with kids and be apart of the family. My favourite game is water play with the hose, that is the best fun ever. Hope you like it too. If you have a conversation with me I will talk back to you and answer all your questions, I am quite the conversationalist. I really do listen, my constant head tilts side to side will show you that I am listening and understanding you and taking it all in. I am learning commands such as get on my bed so my carer can come in to see me in my pen. As I do get a little jumpy when excited. I am learning a lot and getting better all the time they say. I hope you keep training me so I can keep getting better.

Let me introduce myself, I am Duke and it’s nice to meet you. I am a big puppy with a heart full of desire for love and fun. I can get a little boisterous at first when playing but will calm down, I just need a little work on that as I get too excited too quick. I am learning though. I love going for walks, I can be a little jumpy and zippy at first but the staff here are helping me with this and I am hoping you are willing to continue helping me when I get to your place.

I love the outdoors and water play. The hose is my favourite.

I can meet other dogs, after a few sniffs of meeting a new dog I then become quite relaxed and happy to walk alongside them. I am learning lots here I have even learnt to get on my bed when asked so the carer can enter my pen and I sit there and wait for them. I do want to try hard and do the right thing and make you happy, all I ask is that if you can keep up with training and teaching me things I will listen and make you so proud of me.

Hi my name is Kelly and I was wondering if it would be alright if I came and lived at your house with you? I am super sweet and cuddly and really playful too. I love doing zoomies, they are my favourite. I like playing with toys and dogs and people. I like a lot of things so I guess I am really easily pleased. I sound like your dream come true, don’t I? I have met other dogs here too and we are allowed to play together off lead in the yard and we have the best time. They say I have great calming skills towards other dogs. I even met Andy the big Border Collie who is staying here as well and I like him a lot and he seemed to really like me too. I think I am pretty, much an allrounder and ready to go, so again, I was just wondering would it be aright if I came and lived at your house with you?

Hi am Lady, and yes, I am quite the lady as they tell me I prance a little and looks like I walk on my toes, you know like a lady. Then there are other times and I am a real Tom Boy, zoomies, playing with other dogs. Runnings around and feeling the grass between my toes. I love going outside and have even played with some of the other dogs here off lead. I can get a little jumpy but they are working on that with me, I met a big Border Collie called Andy and I liked him too although he is so much bigger than me but he was very patient and lovely to me. I like doing outside stuff but toys scare me, my carers are not sure why but if I see a toy like a ball or something and you throw it or roll it across the ground for me, it just scares me a little, but they are working on it with me so that I hope to maybe like toys, I see other dogs doing it and they look like they are having fun but when it is my turn I am just insure. There are heaps of other things we can do until I get better at that. We go on nice walks here too and they say I am pretty good on lead. I like it when my carers say nice things about me, make me feel good.

Hey there, I am Malcolm. Nice too see you. If you are looking for a placid, polite all-round good guy to be friends with, then look no further, here I am. Oh and if it helps, just so you know I am a pound favourite. Right from the very first day of being here I have been such a good boy the carers tell me. I even came in with a very yukky ear infection in both ears and had to get treatment everyday until it was all better. So even though they had to clean my ears and give me medicine and do all sorts of things I was still told how much of a good boy I am. I like laying in the sun outside in the grass and playing with toys or even sneaking a cuddle from my carers. I am happy to play and have fun with you but I will want to have some down time and have a cuddle and full asleep in the sun. I love to go for a walk and I have been told I am really good on the lead too. So maybe we can go for walks together as well. Also, I can meet other dogs and after a couple of sniffs I am fine with other dogs. I travel light so I am all set and ready to go, you just have to come and pick me up.

Hi I am Neo and it’s very nice to meet you. Let me tell you a little about me. I am a young lad looking for his forever home. I did have one but unfortunately, they couldn’t look after me anymore. I was wondering if you would like to look after me? I am easily pleased and love spending time with people. I can get a little over excited and jumpy and would need some basic training to help with that, something that wasn’t able to be provided to me before. I need some lead training also, I am willing to learn and I do listen very well but I just need some guidance and help with this please. I love water play, if you pick up the hose I will be right there, so game on when it comes to watering your plants because you will have to water me too J I have also been known to jumpy quite high so high fencing will be a must. Sorry, but I just have bouncy legs J In saying that older children preferred only because I may knock them over by mistake and I won’t mean too. I have met some other dogs here and have been able to go on nice walks together.

Hi everyone, I am Noah. I am looking for my forever home, I am hoping that is going to be your home. Here at the pound they call me their little Pocket Rocket. I can do zoomies oh so well. I came into the pound with little to no training and the carers here picked up on that straight away and put me to work. I don’t mind though, I love spending time with my carer’s and they make learning fun. I am your typical puppy but also very smart and a very quick learner. I had a few bad habits and behaviours such as I tended to snatch food without realising I was being so rude. The trainer taught everyone what to do to show me how to change that and it’s working very well, they keep saying I am such a “good boy” and “good listening” to me all the time. I have also been getting better on the lead, not that I was terrible at it but I now don’t really pull so much anymore. I have met others dogs here as well including some way bigger than me. I love playing with other dogs and I love running around on the grass and playing with my toys. My carer’s give me all the cuddles I want, I just can’t get enough. I actually think I am easy to please really.

Hi, my name is Olive and I am looking for my forever home. I am a shy girl, but once I get to know you I will be the biggest cuddle bug you have ever met. I’ll even sit on your lap if you let me. I can still be nervous around people I don’t know but I am open to meeting you. I am pretty good with other dogs too. A little nervous to start off with when I am trying to see if they will like me but once they show me they like me too it makes me so happy. I love playing in the yard with them playing chasing and going on walks. I just need you to have a little patience but once I know you I will run to you with my tail wagging and will expect lots of cuddles from you, if that’s ok? I have become more and more trusting of people since being here. At first I only let one or two people take me for a walk, now all the staff take me for walks and play in the yard and I love it.

Hi there, I am Ryan and it’s a pleasure to meet you. I came to the pound because my human could no longer take care of me, so I was wondering if you like to take home a handsome chap like me. Now I maybe 2 but I still have a lot to learn, unfortunately I was not given a lot of training and I would really like that. I am quite strong so I do tend to pull a lot when first taken on a lead for a walk but I do settle down but I just need some help with the first bit and I think it’s just because I am so excited because I love walks. Able to meet other dogs so if you have a dog at home please ask to bring them with you to meet me. I am pretty handsome as I am sure you can see for yourself. With some force free training I will become the perfect pet as I just want to make you happy and please you.

Hi I am Sooky, it’s nice to meet you. I am looking for a new forever home. I came to the pound only because my human couldn’t take care for me anymore. I was wondering if you would like to take care for me, love me and I promise to take care of you and love you too. I am a very happy go lucky type of dog despite my name. I do love affection and lots of it, don’t worry you will never run out of hugs for me. Ill take them all. I am a bit jumpy because I really haven’t had a lot of basic training so some force free training would be helpful so I will know how to do what is expected when you need me too. If you have kids that’s fine, older kids only due to me jumping but I’ll try not to. If you have a dog please ask to bring them with you so I can meet them too.

Hi there, I am the lovely Sophia. I am a loving and sweet young girl but I am also a Tom Boy and love to hang out with the boys in the yard and do boy things, you know talk about cars and fishing. Haha yes, I know I am a cheeky little thing. I like meeting new dogs, in fact I probably get a little too excited about it at first, but after all the sniffs of each other are done I can calmly walk alongside any dog. I love playing with the carers too, I have heaps of fun with them. Running around and playing chase, that’s my favourite. I am a solid little thing so to go to a home that has kids’ bout 12 years old or older would be better as I can still be a bit jumpy and I might knock little ones over, but my carers are helping me not to jump so much. I did mention that I liked to meet other dogs so if you have a dog at your home already please ask to bring them with you when you come to meet me. I hope I see you soon.

Hi there, I am Zayn and I am a young boy looking for a forever home. My carer’s say I have a sweet nature and love to pats and cuddles first and foremost. I love going outside and playing with toys with my carer’s and they also take me on walks on a lead which they say I am really good at. I am a pretty quiet guy, don’t really have much to say and can easily just chill out on my bed until play time arrives. With my young age I had a few things to learn, like manners, I was a little nippy when given treats but the carer’s have taught me to slow down and if I ask nicely I would get a treat, and they were right, they are really proud of me because I take my treats very gently now. They are teaching me to get on my bed before they enter my pen and I almost do it every time now. I can still be quite jumpy with excitement when I first go out to play but they are trying to teach me my manners there as well, they say I am doing much better and learning place as well. So hopefully when I come to your house you will keep doing this with me so I can continue to be a good dog. I really hope that I am going to meet you soon and you take me home with you, you won’t find another like me, I am one cool kid.
